Runners Take Your Marks & Get Set for the Atlanta Half Marathon 2012!

The Atlanta Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile race that begins and ends at Turner Field. More than 12,000 runners will traverse the city hitting famous Atlanta landmarks like Centennial Olympic Park and Piedmont Park before crossing the finish line.

Presented by the Atlanta Track Club, the 2012 Atlanta Half Marathon also features a 5K, fun runs and an expo. The Thanksgiving Day 5K, for runners 8 and up, takes place at 8:00 AM and is a fun way for families to be a part of the action. The Mashed Potato Mile and Gravy Gallop are fun runs for kids ages 12 - 7 and ages 6 and under respectively. The Atlanta Half Marathon Health and Fitness Expo takes place on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM and is free to the public.
